Managing Product Content: Media, Locations, and Itinerary

Overview

The Product Content section is the primary area for defining the visual and descriptive elements of your experience. This is where you transform a basic listing into a compelling story by adding high-quality media, detailed itineraries, and precise location data. Providing comprehensive information here not only improves your customer conversion rate but also directly impacts your Google “Things to do” readiness score.

Media

The Media tab is split into three categories to help showcase your experience.

Photos

  • Requirements: Images must be at least 1200px wide with a 16:9 aspect ratio.
  • File Support: Upload .jpg or .png files up to 5 MB in size.
  • Management:
    • Titles: Add a descriptive title to each photo to improve search visibility.
    • Reordering: Hover over an image to reveal navigation arrows. Use the left and right chevrons to adjust the display order.
    • Deleting: Click the trash icon on the image overlay or next to the title field to remove a photo.

Videos

  • Platforms: Supports YouTube and Vimeo.
  • Adding: Paste the video URL into the uploader. The system will automatically generate an embedded preview.
  • Management: Like photos, videos can be reordered using the hover controls or deleted if no longer needed.

Socials

  • Instagram Integration: You can embed specific Instagram posts.
  • URL Normalization: When you add a link, the system automatically strips tracking parameters (anything after the ?) to ensure clean embeds.
  • How to add: Select “Instagram” from the platform dropdown, paste the full URL, and click the + icon.

Locations | Attractions

Define the key geographical points for your product, such as meeting points or drop-off zones.

  • Map Options: You can define a location using three methods:
    1. Google Maps Search: Search by name or address using autocomplete.
    2. Google Maps Link: Paste a direct link from Google Maps.
    3. Open Street Maps: Use the OSM integration for alternative mapping.
  • Location Types: You can assign multiple labels to a single location (e.g., a spot can be both a “Pick-up” and a “Meeting-point”).
  • Remarks: Use the “Remarks” field for specific instructions (e.g., “Look for the guide in the red hat”).

Inclusions & Exclusions

Clearly define what is and isn’t provided to manage guest expectations.

  • Visual Cues: Inclusions are marked with a green + icon, while exclusions use a red - icon.
  • Limits: Text items are limited to 100 characters to ensure clear, bulleted lists.
  • Translations: Click the translation icon next to any item to provide localized text for different languages supported by your organization.

Itinerary

Build a chronological timeline of the experience.

  • Timeline Entry: Each step in the itinerary consists of:
    • Title: The main activity name.
    • Date/Duration: Specify the timing (e.g., “Day 1” or “2 Hours”).
    • Subtitle: Use this for specific admission or ticket remarks.
    • Location: You can link a specific Google Maps location to an individual step.
    • Description: A full rich-text editor is provided for detailed activity descriptions.
  • Flexibility: You can add a new step at any point in the timeline by clicking “Add Step” between existing entries. Use the Up/Down arrows to reorder the sequence.

Pre-requisites

Use this section to list mandatory requirements for participants. This uses a rich-text editor, allowing you to format lists for physical requirements, age restrictions, or necessary certifications (e.g., “Must hold a valid driving license”).

Guidance

Provide helpful, non-mandatory advice for your guests. This is the ideal place for “What to bring” lists, dress code suggestions, or arrival tips.

Knowledge Base / FAQs

Reduce support inquiries by providing a list of Frequently Asked Questions.

  • Structure: Each entry consists of a clear Question and a formatted Answer.
  • Rich Text: The answer field supports bolding, italics, and lists to make information easy to digest.
  • Note on Saving: Unlike other tabs, KB items require you to click the Save button within the edit block to commit your changes to the list before the overall product auto-save triggers.
