Overview
The Affiliate Dashboard provides a real-time pulse of your partner ecosystem. By leveraging the data from clicks, conversions, and payout batches, administrators can optimize their commission spend and identify high-value partners.
1. The Executive Summary (Main Dashboard)
The main dashboard aggregates data from the Affiliate Partner and Link models to show high-level health metrics:
- Total Revenue vs. Commissionable Amount: Understand the gross value driven by affiliates versus the actual amount eligible for commissions after taxes and discounts.
- Earnings Per Click (EPC): Calculated as
Total Commission / Total Clicks. This is the primary metric for measuring the quality of traffic. - Conversion Rate (CR): Calculated as
Total Conversions / Unique Clicks. - Financial Liability: A summary of
Pending Amountacross all partners, showing exactly how much commission is owed but not yet batched for payout.
2. Traffic & Click Reports
Using data from the Link Click model, you can analyze the “top of the funnel”:
- Geographic Distribution: View where clicks are originating from (
country) to identify new market opportunities. - Device Analysis: Monitor
Device Type(Mobile vs. Desktop) to ensure your store landing pages are optimized for the partner’s audience. - Unique vs. Total Clicks: Track the ratio of unique users to repeat clicks to identify highly engaged audiences.
- Fraud Monitoring: Review the

Next Tier Threshold. These partners are prime candidates for personalized outreach to encourage more volume. - Link Performance: Identify which specific
Linkslugs (e.g., specific blog posts or social bios) are converting at the highest rate.
5. Financial & Payout Audits
For accounting teams, the Affiliate Payout Batch model provides the necessary audit trail:
- Payout History: A chronological list of all batches (
Paid At), including thePayout Reference(External Transaction ID) for bank reconciliation. - Currency Breakdown: Since the system is multi-tenant and supports multiple partner currencies, this report summarizes your total liability per currency.
- Rejection Analysis: Monitor
Rejection Reasontrends. If a high percentage of commissions are being rejected, it may indicate a technical issue with tracking or a need to update partner terms and conditions.
6. Best Practices for Reporting
- Monthly Reconciliation: Run the Payout Batch report at the end of every month to ensure
Total EarningsminusTotal Paidequals the currentPending Amount. - Monitor “Linear” Attribution: If you use the
linearattribution model, watch the “Candidate Plans” report closely to ensure partners are being rewarded fairly for shared credit. - TTL Awareness: Remember that raw
Link Clickdata is automatically purged after 90 days. For long-term trend analysis, rely on theLinkdenormalized stats andAffilitea Partner Snapshotrecords.
When generating large reports, use the affiliate programcode and orgcode filters to ensure you are only looking at data relevant to the specific business unit or tenant you are auditing.
